Your registration for the MdS depends on the country in which you live. We can only accept entrants from the UK, Republic of Ireland, South Africa & Israel. If you do not live in one of these countries, please visit the organisers website to find your local representative.

 

 

The MdS is run annually in March/April, exact dates will vary each year however the format of an 11 day duration is standard. As the exclusive UK, Irish, South African and Israeli representatives, we have a fixed quota of places in each event (which equates to about a quarter of total places available). Interest for places, particularly from the UK and Ireland and increasingly South Africa is extremely high.  

 

These places are usually reserved several years in advance. To register your interest in future participation or to check availability, please see below for the specific status of each year. Please be aware that for your entry in the Marathon Des Sables you are deemed upon paying your deposit to accept the race regulations and the terms and conditions of booking, including the deposit system.

 

We allocate many MdS entry places to charities, so in the event of us not having any available it may be worthwhile contacting them to see if they have available places. In many instances they may have spaces available to Marathon des Sables even if we don’t. Of course, they will have criteria relating to guarantees that you will use your place to raise money for their specific charity. In return for this, they may subsidise or sponsor your race entry fee.
